A little about us

Gavriella (horn) and Ortal (violin) Goldman make up the exciting duo that is the GOLDMAN SISTERS. Their repertoire ranges from standard concert works, where they appear with a pianist, to music comedy shows for which they write and arrange music for themselves. The Goldman Sisters are renowned for their ‘daring, imaginative and confident performances’. They have won many prizes, including the Nelly Apt Opera and Singers Trust Award in Australia and the Sir Jack and Lady Lyons Millennium Scholarship. They have also been students at The Rubin Academy of Music, Bar-Ilan University and the University of York.

The Goldman Sisters have delighted audiences at a wide range of venues in many parts of the world. They were invited to perform a concert in memory of the victims of the London Bombings at St Martin-in-the-Fields on the first anniversary of the tragedy and were subsequently asked to return and perform again. They recorded at the Wigmore Hall and were offered the rare opportunity to promote their CD at Virgin Megastore in Piccadilly. Later they were selected for the London City Showcase, one of the UK’s most prestigious showcasing festivals.
